Scope and developer
This policy covers ORBIT for Android, package com.ihorkharchyshyn.orbit, provided by Ihor Kharchyshyn (Харчишин Ігор). Contact ihorkharchyshyn@gmail.com for support or privacy questions.
ORBIT does not require an app account. The core game works offline. It has no advertisements, advertising attribution, public profiles, chat, user-generated content, or gameplay analytics service. Adult store features use Google Play and RevenueCat; their processing is described below.
Gameplay information stays on your device
The game stores information in its local application storage to provide its features:
- Level unlocks and results, Daily results and streaks, achievements, statistics, and an activity calendar.
- An unfinished run, including attached and flying pins, rotation, elapsed time, and the current phase.
- Preferences such as language, sound, haptics, appearance, reduced motion, selected cosmetics, and the broad age group chosen on the device. The game does not ask for a date of birth or exact age, and the age-group choice is not transmitted.
- Custom Core designs when that feature is available, and verified purchase-entitlement information for eligible offline access.
ORBIT does not send your gameplay progress, statistics, custom designs, or saved runs to the developer. Local run identifiers help save and count attempts correctly; they are not app accounts or advertising identifiers. There is no developer cloud backup or cross-device synchronization service. The developer cannot remotely inspect or recover your local game database.
Google Play, RevenueCat, and optional purchases
Only the age-18-and-over mode starts ORBIT’s in-app purchase services. Players under 18 and players who have not selected an age group can use local gameplay without the app initializing RevenueCat or its store-billing connection, querying products, starting or restoring purchases, or making receipt-verification requests. This does not control Google’s separate handling of an app installation or other device services.
Where paid products are available, Google Play processes Android payments and RevenueCat validates store receipts and manages access to purchased content. RevenueCat uses an anonymous app user identifier together with product identifiers, purchase history, transaction information, and store verification data. ORBIT does not supply a name, email address, exact age, or date of birth as customer attributes. Your gameplay database and local age-group choice are not sent with purchase requests.
Purchase information supports ownership checks, delivery, restoration, fraud prevention, and purchase reporting in RevenueCat’s dashboard. A request to those services also involves technical information needed to operate the connection, such as an IP address and app or platform information. Optional RevenueCat diagnostics and automatic device-identifier collection are disabled in ORBIT’s configuration, and no advertising-attribution integration is enabled. Google Play Billing may separately log billing API outcomes and connection errors. This is not a promise that the store or purchase services process no data.
ORBIT does not receive payment card details or a store password. The purchase SDK may retain eligible ownership information on the device for offline use; clearing local data does not delete provider purchase records. Release status: ORBIT’s store and RevenueCat configuration are being prepared. A preview or this policy does not mean that a paid product is already available.
See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy, RevenueCat’s purchase-data guidance, the Google Privacy Policy, and Google Play Terms of Service. RevenueCat describes its international processing and retention in its policy; ORBIT does not promise a separate fixed retention period for records held by those providers. A future iOS release would use Apple’s store services under the Apple Privacy Policy; this policy currently describes the Android release.
Children and families
ORBIT is intended for a general audience that includes children under 13. A neutral age-group choice is kept only on the device to select the appropriate experience. The game does not ask children to create an account or provide a name, email address, date of birth, exact age, or location. All players under 18, including children under 13, and players whose age group is unknown receive local gameplay with ORBIT’s in-app billing services disabled; only the age-18-and-over mode can use store features. It has no advertising, public sharing community, or messaging between players. The developer does not use gameplay information for advertising or profiling children.
A parent or guardian can contact the developer about privacy or support. Please do not include a child’s name, email address, photograph, school, or other identifying information; it is not needed to explain a gameplay issue. Optional in-app store features are restricted to adult mode. Parents should also use Google Play’s purchase authentication and family controls for the device. ORBIT does not replace those controls or request a child’s payment details.
Permissions and sharing
ORBIT does not request access to contacts, precise location, camera, or microphone. Network access supports store-related functionality. Choosing to share a result opens the device’s share interface; you choose the destination. The game does not automatically post results or attach your local database.
Keeping and deleting information
Local gameplay information stays on the device until it is reset or removed:
- Settings → Reset progress removes campaign and Daily results, achievements, and the suspended run, and returns campaign access to Level 1. Preferences, statistics, custom Core designs, and purchase ownership are retained.
- Settings → Reset statistics removes statistics, activity records, and Endless and Rhythm run histories. Campaign progress and preferences remain. Future play can create new records.
- Android Settings → Apps → ORBIT → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstalling the game, removes the app’s local storage. Device wording may differ. This is irreversible without a separate copy; ORBIT provides no cloud recovery service. Operating-system transfer or backup behavior can vary.
Removing local data does not cancel a purchase or erase records held by Google Play or RevenueCat. Purchase records may be needed for ownership, restoration, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Use Google’s controls for its account and payment records, and contact the developer for requests about the ORBIT purchase records processed through RevenueCat. We may need limited information to identify the record; do not send full receipts or tokens in an initial email. See Delete your data for practical steps.
Support correspondence and privacy requests
If you choose to email support, your email address and the information you include are used to respond to your request. Correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request and related follow-up; you can ask for its deletion. The app does not automatically attach diagnostics or game saves. Do not send passwords, payment card details, purchase tokens, or signing keys.
Parents and guardians can use the same contact for privacy requests. The developer can review requests relating to ORBIT’s RevenueCat records and support correspondence, subject to applicable rights and any legal retention requirements. It cannot remove Google’s independent records or remotely erase an on-device database it does not possess.
Changes
The date above identifies this policy revision. Material changes in data handling will be described in this policy and applicable store disclosures before they are introduced. Corporate website processing, if any, is separate from the game; this policy describes ORBIT itself.
