Privacy policy

How Sudoku Worlds handles local gameplay data, Google Play purchases, and support correspondence.

Scope

This policy describes the Android application Sudoku Worlds provided by Харчишин Ігор. Sudoku Worlds works without an app account. Normal gameplay works offline. There are no advertisements, advertising identifiers, analytics services, cloud saves or cross-device synchronization in this release.

Data kept on your device

The app stores the following in its local application storage so its features can work:

  • Puzzles, solutions, entered numbers, candidate notes, undo history, game status and elapsed time.
  • Gameplay records, completed Daily dates, streaks, statistics and achievements.
  • Preferences such as language, appearance, input mode, sound, haptics and selected World.
  • Custom theme names, colors and style choices created in Theme Studio, when that feature is available.
  • Previously verified premium product ownership and its verification time in the operating system's secure storage, for offline access.

This information is processed on your device. The app does not upload your puzzles, progress, settings or themes to the developer. The developer cannot remotely view, recover or delete these local records. Random game identifiers identify local puzzle records; they are not accounts or advertising identifiers.

Purchases and Google Play

When available, digital purchases are processed by Google Play under Google's terms and privacy policy. Google Play may process your Google account and payment information. Sudoku Worlds does not receive your payment card details or Google account password.

The app communicates with Google Play to request product availability and prices and to check or restore purchases. Google Play can return product identifiers, purchase status, order identifiers, purchase tokens and signed purchase data. The app uses purchase data only to verify and deliver the relevant digital content and to restore access. Verified product ownership may be cached locally. Offline ownership verification is time-limited. A successful store refresh replaces the cache with the ownership returned by Google Play.

This release has no developer purchase-verification server endpoint configured and does not send receipts to a developer server. If server verification is enabled in a later release, the app will send the product identifier, purchase token, original purchase data, signature, store source, app package and purchase/order identifier to the configured verification service over HTTPS for validation and entitlement delivery. The policy and store disclosures will be updated for that service before such processing is enabled. Your puzzle data is not part of a purchase receipt verification request.

Google's own processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy and Google Play Terms of Service.

Permissions, analytics and sharing

Sudoku Worlds does not request access to your contacts, location, camera or microphone. It does not include advertising or analytics tracking. Internet access supports store-related functionality; an Internet permission does not mean that local gameplay records are uploaded. The developer does not sell your gameplay data or send it to advertisers.

Retention and deletion

Local gameplay data stays on your device until you remove it. The available controls have different effects:

  • Settings → Reset statistics removes stored statistics records, Daily completion/streak records and achievements. It retains saved puzzles, including completed puzzle records, and local identifiers used to prevent old completions from repopulating reset statistics. Continuing or completing a game afterwards can create new statistics.
  • Settings → Delete saved games removes unfinished saved puzzles, including paused or failed games. It retains completed puzzle records and previously recorded statistics. Use Reset statistics separately to remove those statistics.
  • Theme Studio → Delete removes the selected custom theme when Theme Studio is available. Changing a preference replaces that preference; the statistics and saved-game controls do not reset your preferences or premium ownership cache.
  • Android Settings → Apps → Sudoku Worlds → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstalling the app, removes the app's local database and preferences, including the completed-puzzle archive. This is irreversible: the app provides no cloud backup or recovery service. Operating-system handling of secure storage may differ; removing local data does not cancel a purchase or erase Google Play's purchase records. Google Play may restore eligible purchases after reinstallation.

There is no Sudoku Worlds account to delete. For purchase records, payment history or refund requests held by Google Play, use Google's account and purchase controls. Requests sent to the developer cannot erase data held independently by Google.

Support and privacy requests

To ask about this policy or request support, contact ihorkharchyshyn@gmail.com. If you choose to send email, your address and the information you include will be processed to respond to your request. Do not include passwords, payment card details or purchase tokens. Support correspondence is separate from on-device gameplay; the app does not automatically attach your puzzle database or diagnostic logs.

Changes

Changes to the app's data practices will be reflected in an updated policy and effective date. Any new server collection or additional data use will be described before it is introduced.
